Restoring
the Kingdom Ministries started in May of 2007. The intent was to start a simple outreach ministry but it soon turned into church services
being held at the home of Pastors Burr and Glennitta Battle. In October of 2007, plans were made to move services to a larger
facility to house the growing number of members. In November of 2007, the ministry relocated to 1216 Centerpoint Pkwy
in the Parkway Square Shopping Center. Since then, the church has grown in all parts from ministries to disciples.The original name was Weapons of Power Ministries
but, after seeking God, Pastor Glennitta was given the name Restoring the Kingdom Ministries due to the large
number of souls needing to be restored. Shortly after that, a mission statement was given to Pastor Burr by the Holy Spirit
to go hand-in-hand with the name of the ministry. So... forgetting all that is behind, we press toward the calling of
Jesus Christ while restoring souls to the kingdom of GOD. In October 2010 Restoring the Kingdom Ministries church building was
destroyed in a storm.The only location that the ministry could find for worship service was the North Birmingham Public library.
They were faithful and trusting God through this transition, but little did they know it would be for only two months!
On December 30,2010 God sent an angel to help the ministry find a place of worship, not only was it the beginning of a new year, but a
groundbreaking moment for the ministry. On February 18TH 2011, Restoring The Kingdom Ministries through the hands
of God almighty was able to purchase our first church building located 1884 16th Street North Birmingham, Alabama.
Restoring The Kingdom Ministry is led by the power of the Holyghost according to the word of God. Luke
13:29-33 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from
the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
